Adventure Psychology

Many people will be familiar with Sports Psychology, which is about peak performance in fixed conditions for relatively short periods of time.

In comparison, Adventure Psychology is about enduring performance in challenging and unknown conditions – much more like the real world around us, both personally and in business. Adventure Psychology builds flexible and resilient performance in people and businesses facing the unknown.

The world today is often described as VUCA – Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous. We need to cope, survive and thrive in these conditions, both inside and outside of work. We need to adapt as the world changes around us.

Those that survive and thrive are not necessarily the fittest but those better equipped for surviving. Adventure Psychology equips us to cope with less stress and be able thrive as we develop evolutionary fitness.
